'Vell, ADKoC's jist zis guy you know?'--Gag Halfrunt (ADKoC's Private brain care specialist)

(Bonus points to the sci-fi geeks [like me] out there who know where this one comes from!)

Alright 'the cops are back again' as they disc so plainly exclaims in the second track of their new album God 7, Structure 0...oh wait a second I get it...structure ZERO...so by not having any track titles and just calling each track 01, 02, 03, 04, etc...you're showing a complete lack of STRUCTURE whereas you've already given God 7 points so He wins. OK, cool idea but annoying end product. Seriously it does make it difficult to latch on to a song that you really dig when it's got no name! While I've already geared myself up for bashing outta the gates lemme finish that up before I get to the praise of this band, to which they DESERVE this CD rocks! With this second MP3.COM album offered by ADKoC we are given 14 new tracks (and a bonus hidden song) of heavy industrial that at times tends to lead more to the EBM side of things this go around. No don't worry the heavy guitars still crunch through like on the song 07...i mean track 7 well see what I mean about the lack of names? Anyway track seven is probably my favorite track on the disc. The BPM's gotta be pegging around 180+ on this one. With guitar work that goes from this rhythm to almost lead style playing. This IS a clubbing song!

The very next track is a more surreal EBM song that is simply great and so the styles continue to flip flop and change showing a lot of diversity on this CD. The vocals throughout the CD are improved. On the last album Another Every Day Occurence they were mixed very high and created too much in your face sound. Here ADKoC has mixed them a bit lower and they become much more a part of the music than they did before. At points on this CD however I feel there's too much distortion on the vox however, Tim's got a great voice and the distortion makes it difficult to hear him every now and then.

Lyrics are a vast improvement here, as ADKoC has written much more blatant songs about his faith. I really like this guy's style I loved what he wrote on the first CD but now it's just so much deeper. Not to mention the tracks like 7 and 11 which are just sermons being preached put to music. This may sound odd but it's done extremely well and as I said before 7 is one of my favorite tracks on this disc.

Wrapping it up this is a fantastic second helping of ADKoC, a bit divergent from the straight up thrusting guitars of the first CD which shows growth, but still a great CD. If you're even slightly interested in industrial styled music this is so worth checking out. At $5.99 on MP3.COM you can't beat it either. Plus if you're up on your 90's pop music you won't want to miss the bonus hidden track that comes in a few minutes after track 14 fades out. 'She Drives Me Crazy' by Fine Young Cannibals. Now that's a nice touch!
