Anchor has an old school hardcore flair, from back when hardcore was more punk oriented. Think Gorilla Biscuits or H20. This is a cool CD. A lot different from the member's other projects, it leans more to the punk side than hardcore. In a way it reminded me of the JPUSA based band, Left Out. While I enjoyed it, the songs are very similar and after awhile I got a little bored. There is definite talent here, and with time, hopefully they can change some things around create more individualized songs.
