Indie label 137 Records has released the second album by Angst, otherwise known as one-man-band Matthew M. Nordan. The Null Hypothesis is at least a cut above most indie industrial projects in terms of listenability. Nordan employs various seemingly disparate styles to paint his sonic portrait. Tuneful, singable melodies and acoustic guitars weave their way into brain racking rhythm tracks and other sounds familiar to the industrial genre. Watch for a thorough review of this album soon here in Dig.
Adventurous fans of Nine Inch Nails, Mortal, and Circle of Dust can take our word for it and purchase the cassette directly from 137 Records for five dollars.
