This tape leads off with the tranquil sounds of a song called "Missing Peace", but wait - just as you're being lulled into thinking that this mellow feel will continue for awhile, the guitar is abruptly interrupted by the riveting metallic strains of "Black & White", a song which tells us to eliminate the grey in our lives and recognize things as black and white, clearly right or wrong. The band presses on throughout the tape with the guitar-laden rockin' feel with such songs as "I Wonder Bout This World", "Flesh 'N' Blood", and others. "Suicide" is a powerful song, which asserts that many times the ones whom we least expect to want to commit suicide are the ones that do. "By all accounts they had it all/ until the day they fell apart/ no one knew until they took the fall/ the awesome price of a broken heart." This is a good effort from the Michigan-based band. It's a consistently upbeat project with lyrics that show a degree of insight. For a copy, see ad this issue.
