"Cannon to A Whisper," is a relaxing and laid back trip into melodic rock. It reminds me of early Sunny Day Real Estate stuff vocally and Mineral musically. The music here isn't in your face or burning with intensity, but it's the kind of stuff you want to put on after a long day of work/school or when you're on a long drive. The album comes complete with a great layout and a good quality recording. In particular I really like the sound of the drums throughout. My favorite track is "Skylight," which has several different parts to it that come together in the end. Being disappointed with newer Sunny Day and sad about Mineral, this could be what I've been looking for.
