Christian and country humorist Chonda Ruth Pierce is dynamite in this live comedy video produced before an all-female audience. Funny at times, but very poignant and moving at others, she pays tribute to her two favorite ladies in the world - Minnie Pearl (her career mentor) and Pierce's mother, Virginia - a solid Christian rock who remained faithful to Christ through divorce, cancer, and the deaths of 2 children.
Pierce tells many humorous anecdotes from her childhood as a Nazarene preacher's kid. She also pays irreverent tribute to Promise Keepers, James Dobson, her husband David, car phones, pagers, and garage door openers in a hilarious routine about men and their toys.
Also featured is a one-act play, "Take My Life, Please!" written by Pierce, and performed with the help of her mother, Virginia Farless, and her friend, Doris Courtney. Pierce also sings several songs, including "A Girl's Night Out," "A Mother's Prayer," "You In Me," and "I'll Tell The World."

It even appealed to my 12-year-old son, who cackled all the way through it, and my 72-year-old parents who found it hysterical.
