Not to be confused with the groove metal band of the same name, Clearview is a female-fronted Minneapolis-area band with a light acoustic folk/rock sound not unlike Caedmon's Call or an unplugged Sixpence None the Richer. The female vocalist has a pleasant, clear voice as she sings intelligent, Christ-centered songs. There are only five of them, but they're produced well by Dana Key (who also recently signed the band to Ardent). The band will be touring, so grab this CD now before it becomes a collector's item. They should go far.
