Faith on the Line is a concept album about underground Christianity, set 75-80 years in the future. A studio project that involves no actual instruments, the project sounds dated, as if done during the new-wave era of the '80s. Vocally, Darrin Davis has spent some time listening to Depeche Mode, and one-hit-wonder Romeo Void. "In My Zone," the opener, is remarkably like David Bowie during his synthesizer period. This ground has been covered before, most notably by Kurt M. Landre and Divine-N-Sight, and to greater effect.
