Out of Dallas comes some cool, thumpin' thrash. The production's a little better than some underground speed metal that comes across my desk. The rhythm section, consisting of guitarists James Chavez and Steve Tidwell, bassist Rob Ojeola, and drummer Ashley Lawhon, hammer down a thick, full-sounding low end. The vocals of Glenn Johnson are pretty accessible--a big plus for this band. "The Messiah Calls" is a heavy highlight. These guys are one of the best unsigned thrash bands. Given a good producer, who will really work with the band, and you could have another killer band here.
