Anyone who's spent some idle time with Dale Thompson would know that he loves and reveres Tom Waits. While this blues solo project doesn't have the years of throat damage that his hero sports (on two fairly recent and outstanding projects), but he does capture the essence of the blues. Any indie rock snobs who've long ago dismissed this guy's main band would do well to forget the associations and pick this up. Write: DT, 309 Churchview Road, West Point KY 40177
