Last but, of course, not least is the new Denison Marrs 7" on Velvet Blue Music. Titled after the 80's Real Life pop classic covered on side A, "Send Me an Angel," this blue vinyl disk is poly-bagged and packaged with modernistic design flair. The title track does the covered song justice, respectfully keeping its vibe and basic arrangement while adding a layer of hard rock attitude. Side B contains a new song called "Device," which harkens the consistent rock aptitude of Denison Marrs, and promises another variable step in their song-writing prowess. Definitely a necessary addition for the Denison Marrs enthusiast, and a great no-risk introduction for the newcomer at only $4.
