Dino Kartsonakis, better known as Dino, is an extraordinary pianist. He has an extensive list of albums-some with show tunes, some with love songs-all show the virtuoso talent of this man.

In Quiet Time, Dino plays simple, well-known hymns. There are no flourishes, no showing off, just reverent renditions of hymns such as "Tis So Sweet" and "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked." All are designed to help the listener commune with God.

Our quiet times are meant to be a personal, one-on-one dialogue with the Lord. "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" remind us of our blessings and "Be Still My Soul" and "It Is Well" should help the listener relax in the glory of God. This collection of hymn favorites should be a perfect background for prayer and meditation time. I recommend it as well for during the long, dark nights of the soul when worries and fear seem far greater than we can bear.

Also included is a short song-by-song devotional booklet written by Dino's daughter, which is designed to direct your quiet times on specific scripture verses and scriptural concepts.

For anyone who likes piano music and would like a project to help get them into the right spiritual frame of mind for their quiet times, I think Quiet Time would be a great investment.
