My first question was "What is a band this cool doing with a five-song CD demo release?" These guys should be on a major label. Heralding from Dover, New Hampshire, Divine Regale has put together a very nice demo. The sonics are great. I would even go so far as to put this in the Queensryche/Dream Theater category.
The first song, "Dawn," sets the pace with an aggressive but short introduction into "Horizon," which speaks of personal reflection and perspective. "Under World" continues with a dark feeeling, like the one the world around us creates. "Missing" gives six minutes of a lost girl looking for identity. "Fear The Storm" finishes the album with an apocalyptic apprehension in mind.
Although I'm not positive of the lyrical content, I am positive I was very impressed by the artistic imagery and seamless production. If you're into progressive rock and emotional introspection that serious music can give, then this one is a must. Look forward to hearing from these guys in the future.
