This is your standard stream-of-consciousness rap that anyone who travels on the CTA in Chicago is familiar with. There is unfortunately no lyric sheet, which makes the mushy rapping on most parts of the album difficult to understand. "The Blood Cries," a song on brotherhood, has a techno beat which works well, but I find the brassy industrial sounds on "Dying to Live" to be annoying. There is minimal music in the background throughout most of the album, which makes it sound underproduced compared to some of the more recent rap out there like K II S and T-Bone. Some fans of their quality second release may be disappointed here.
