Geez...sure is nice to know you can love God and still bang yer head. This 3-piece Florida-based band makes no excuses and has no qualms for Who holds centerstage in their lives. A scripture (Mark 8:31-35) backed by eerie music and read to send chills up your spine starts the tape off. It definitely gets your attention. Just check out "We Must Die": "Forget about religion/forget about tradition/just live by His Word." Powerful words, in essence, saying it all. Could easily wipe any run-of-the-mill secular grindcore band off the map. A close comparison might be Megadeth (but only if they took a chill pill and discovered God). "Divided In Truth" shows the more melodic (what I call) power metal "ballad" sharply executed with a sense of purpose. My personal fave, "Where Pain Never Dwells", speaks in whispering tones until it gets to the chorus. It then screams out to a place that everyone could be (where pain never dwells—get it?). A definite must-have for the hardcore set. With extra credit for the neato cover art.
