Theory 8 records is proud to give to the public what they have been waiting for, their first full length album release. Forget Cassettes has the honor of being the first. Forget Cassettes is a two piece rock band from Tennessee. I know "rock" is such a broad term but there is very little else I could refer to them as.
I think the best way to represent their sound would be to compare them to Pedro the Lion but with a female singer. Sometimes poppier and sometimes toned down but always on the mark. Personal and poetic lyrics with the right style of musical background. The production quality is lacking and I think that is the only major flaw of this album. Forget Cassettes is full of passion and life and I think that will get them far. I would recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of Pedro The Lion, Jawbox, and Rainer Maria.
