Once you hear this native from Mansfield, Ohio, it becomes obvious his influences include Neil Young, Dave Matthews Band and Bob Dylan. The poised arrangements of acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle, drums, cello and banjo are coupled with lyrics that tackle social issues, thought-provoking topics and include a touch of humor. Throughout, Haring wants to express the peace found in the transforming power of knowing Christ.
