This is an all-instrumental project. Sounds are southwestern flavored, reminding me at times of late '70s detective movies. The musicians are incredibly good. The arrangements have a little swing quality from time to time. Something very different. Bill from Blenderhead pointed this band out to me saying that they met Damien Jurado and were sharing their testimonies about becoming Christians with him. In any case, the music is very cool and will give your listening a well defined musical taste. [They have just released a full length lp/cd "The Shadows of Your Smile", hopefully we'll review it next time around.]
