Oh...where to begin?
Happy Little Day is the brainchild of Ed Fleab, a bald dude who paints his face yellow and walks around like one of those smiley faces from the 70s.
Musically, it's electronic/industrial without much weight. A tongue in cheek attempt to be cute. But one of the requirements of humor is that it actually be funny. Unfortunately, Fleab falls far short here, as a Steve Taylor or DA wannabe, without the humor. At times he sounds a bit like a poor man's Passafist, or even DAS. But it just doesn't work. About the only thing that can be said in favor of this disc is that Steve Hindalong apparently played on it a bit.
So take my advice and rather than spend 10-bucks on this, take a date to McDonalds and put a smile on your face that way.
