Magdalene dug deep into the vaults of Christian metal history for this one. Not only did they package this with the US artwork, but the original European art. They've also added the debut maxi-EP Stå och titta på (Stand & Look) as four bonus tracks (all sung in Swedish). Now, while I consider myself a fan of Leviticus (and a friend of guitarist Bjorn Stigsson), I was never a fan of the vocals that bassist Håkan Andersson brought to the band. This fact, and the low ceiling sonics of the production keep this from being more than a Leviticus fan's collector's item. I'm so grateful to Magdalene for going to the effort of keeping this out-of-print album from being forgotten forever, but I don't see this particular release as being Leviticus' strongest record, nor an excellent piece of Christian metal history.
