From start to finish, this is a definite must for the fan of creative music. Even the layout of this disc is creative and fairly artistic. There is a lot of changes and diversity throughout. With variations in the vocals, from high end screechy vocals to deep, almost death metal vocals. The #1 thing I liked about this disc was the title, If It's Too Cute, Set It On Fire. I wish more people thought that way, we wouldn't have Pokemon and all this other stuff ruling the world. Anyhow, there is no doubt that this band is talented. Lyrically, they are kinda vague as to where they stand in the overall belief issue. Not that this makes them less of a band, but sometimes it is nice to know where a band is coming from. The overall project has a good recording and is solid musically. It fits in with the more technical / metal hardcore that is big right now, and at times it is poppy with a slight emo influence. If you have this CD, or decide to pick it up, make sure that you check out the secret song, but I wouldn't suggest listening to it the dark.
