Planetshakers' My King is a fantastic CD. I can't get enough of it. It took a few spins to let it grow on me, but now I've got one track or another going through my head all day long. "Open Up The Gates" is a great high-energy bash, while "My King" is a fitting closer. Even at 9-1/2 minutes it leaves you wanting more. Planetshakers' style reminded me of the Christ For the Nations Institute (CFNI) worship tapes of the early '90s, full of energy and sincerity. Planetshakers has a polished, well-mixed sound that ascends by leaps and bounds into heavenly worship.
