Oh Yaaa. Good ol' down South rockin' grit. You like grits don't ya? 14 thick man size cuts of raw beef. If you saw Ozzy's Farewell Tour you know Zakk Wylde can more than hold his own & chop his Les Paul to bits. On the infold P&G first thank God & the Allman Brothers. Well the song "Sweet Jesus" could just be summed up in the line "I nearly lost you babe" but now the Allman Bros. is written all over this 75 minute disc. Though you can hear some of the influences, it's just as original as any southern rock band. They're all strong cuts but "The Chosen One" is the most powerful & "Fadin' Away" is quite emotional & backed by the Seattle Symphony. "Hate Your Guts" lightens things up & closes it all out with a banjo & tamborine. Hee Hawl Check it out.
