Live for You, Rachael Lampa's first CD contains many incredible songs that have been extremely successful on the radio over the past year, such as "Live for You," "Shaken," and "You Lift Me Up."
The fifteen-year-old has incredible vocal range, hitting beautiful notes that give listeners goosebumps. The lyrics, although not written by Lampa, are thought inspiring, although not earth-shattering. Several top-notch songwriters contributed to the array of songs such as Ginny Owens and Cindy Morgan, so the lyrics do not seem foreign, yet have their own unique style to them.
Brent Bourgeois, and Brown Bannister, the producers of Live for You, did a great job in mixing lively and upbeat pop songs with soft praise and worship ballads. With the sudden influx of teen pop stars rising to fame in the music world, Rachael Lampa is one of the few standing up for Jesus in a culture where there is very little glory in that.
The artfulness of Live for You is a pleasant surprise and a big plus as well as the wonderful worship atmosphere of the project shown throughout the lyrics. Lampa has a very enchanting sound, so anyone who is a fan of mature pop music such as Jaci Velasquez should pick this album up and give it a listen and experience Rachael Lampa for yourself.
