Okay boys and girls, Sacred Warrior is back, ready to bring the walls down with their brand of metal! Anyone who has ever heard or seen this band will agree that these "vatos" are very excellent musicians, and with this album they've proven to have gotten even better and tighter! This new effort is more of a concept album containing three characters: a newly-saved Christian, a young man who gets saved during the story, and a girl who is trying to walk the imaginary line between the two. Lead vocalist Rey Parra gives an excellent performance with his powerful vocals with a slight Geoff Tate (Queensryche) flavor - adding a plus. Bruce Swift does some very well done guitar work, which just so happens to dominate the album (kind of a return to the aggressive, straight-ahead metal of Rebellion). Tony Velazquez once again shows his talent as a drummer, with Steve Watkins holding down the rhythm section. This is a definite must for the headbanger in you! Orale Vatos! (You'll have to excuse Joey. I think this is some sort of the Mexican bonding thing you hear about. - ed)
