The band of many ruffled feathers is back with another epic work of art. This self-produced record, funded by Frontline for European distribution, is a giant self-disclosure of Eric Clayton's life in the last two years (or so it seems). While at times maybe taking a martyr's complex, Eric seems to cry out for the bride of Christ to stop acting as hypocritical judges and truly "manifest the Son" by being loving and just. Some of the things he has keenly picked up is the legalism that many add to their faith in Christ, which he refers to as "their conditions of salvation/in which so blindly they defend."
By choosing words like "the poltergeist" instead of Spirit, many will wonder if this music is safe for consumption. I would recommend digesting some Daniel Amos before coming here, so your eyes will be looking beneath the surface. There's lots to see here -- more than was apparent to myself in the few short days available before this deadline.
The music is beautiful and moving, not unlike the diversity and emotional landscapes of Pink Floyd.
