Some Girls could be described as somewhat of a super group. They feature Wes Eisold (American Nightmare, Give Up The Ghost), Rob Moran (Unbroken, Over My Dead Body), Justin Pearson (The Locust, Swing Kids, Holy Molar) and Chuck Rowell (Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower). They sound nothing like the bands the members have come from. Actually they probably sound more like The Locust and American Nightmare mixed together. "The DNA Will Have It's Say" is just crazy. It's all over the place in just a few minutes. It's brutal and seems like free form hardcore meets power violence. Karen of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs makes a guest appearance on the title track of this record which is an added bonus and possibly broaden the bands fan base. Although this isn't really my thing but I find that strange because I am a fan of AN, Unbroken, The Locust and Swing Kids. I think it's a solid record and a good release but it's just not what I like.
