"My music is about love, the love that let the nails go through the hands of Jesus"
With a sound that recalls the ethereal, sincere guitar pop of U2 and Coldplay, Taylor Sorenson's debut full-length will be familiar to followers of the genre. Right from the opening strains of the anthemic "Love Somebody Else," it is obvious where Sorenson is headed. Although the final destination is fairly predictable, it does not make the ride there any less pleasing. The rollicking "Follow Me," the atmospheric "Gloria 34," the poignant "Red Fone," the throbbing "What Love Is," and the soulful "Sing (Or the Rocks Will Get To)" all make for an edifying sonic experience.
