Mick Rowe of Tempest is back, and he's grabbed the lead vocal mic and revamped the band big time. Let's back up and look at the prefix "vamp," because Mick has gone the dark musical route a la Type O Negative. The results are pretty cool, although more guitar and less keys would be better. His does a pretty good job with his low, low voice, though. I think this doom-y direction is a good move for him.
