This is one of the heftier demo tapes I've received lately of the thrash/speed genre. These musicians have a kar-runch, which they deliver at high speeds. What caught my attention are the Iron Maiden/Egyptian-styled guitar tones opening "Bell, Book, And Candle", but what keeps it is the song quality throughout. There's some definite hooks that keep me right with the band. These five songs (including one instrumental--"The Order") have somewhat bad sonic levels, but the muddy mix isn't unbearable, because the band achieves a decent dynamic level of sound.
