The title track starts off the tape, revealing somewhat dry and weak vocals, but the best drum sound I've heard on a custom tape in a long, long time. The guitars are pretty hot too. "Close to the Edge" has some really good leads with good tones and shows a bit of passion from the vocalist, as he stops singing and starts to shout about "all this killing". "Bound" is a good, melodic song. The only thing missing is a world-class vocalist, which would make this song a hit. "One Who Cares" closes the tape with an acoustic ballad. The melody line could pass as a Scorpion ballad. Maybe with more coaching, practice, and time, vocalist Peter Andersson could be a Klaus Meine. Not yet. Meanwhile, enjoy the exceptional instrumentation.
