What a superb sleeve for a compilation!! PURE METAL has struck hard!! HEAVY RIGHTEOUS METAL! Heavy metal that means to be good in every sense of the word! As for the choice of bands, it is suitable: from hard FM (ROSANNA'S RAIDERS) to properly weighty heavy (SAINT). And yet, one would have appreciated a thrash or speed band to complete this compilation... Or else, one of BRIDE's thrash tracks should have been chosen (and not "Metal Might")... Be that as it may, this compilation is of excellent quality. But, because there is a but, why choose almost systematically tracks already appearing on albums...? Indeed, only "Rock For The Rock" by RAGE OF ANGELS is unreleased...! Really a pity, because unsigned bands (or ones on the way to being signed) would have been welcome: for example ETERNAL RYTE, PARADOX, or again APOSTLE,... HEAVY RIGHTEOUS METAL all the same has the merit of giving a fairly good sample of White Metal, or at any rate of the WM bands signed to PURE METAL... MESSIAH PROPHET, SAINT, WHITE CROSS, ROSANNA'S RAIDERS, LEVITICUS, TEMPEST, DANIEL BAND, BRIDE, RAGE OF ANGELS and JERUSALEM.
