For more than seven decades, Oswald Chambers's classic book of devotionals, My Utmost for His Highest, has inspired millions. In 1995, Myrrh and Word Records put together a musical project based on this book. The response was overwhelming so there were two more albums, a concert tour, and finally, a video of the tour. The video features performances by well-known CCM artists: Cindy Morgan, Steven Curtis Chapman, Twila Paris, Sandi Patty, Bryan Duncan, and Avalon. The most interesting part of the video is the dramatic readings of Chambers's work by actor Chip Arnold interspersed throughout the songs. The video is well-done and of excellent quality. If you enjoy these artists or other pop CCM artists, you'll like the video. The alternative fans can pull out their At the Foot of the Cross albums and wish that Cornerstone concert was available on video.
