10 songs from 9 bands, 9 recorded live at the 1996 TOM festival in Portland Oregon. HXC from P.O.D. and N.I.V. (a new song i haven't heard before 'stupid question'), various brands of rock 'n roll in the altarnative vein: silage (ska tinged), motormouth and wendy bailey. some gothic overtones by spy glass blue and funky vibes from soulfood 76 and twin sister add more variety. the sometime sunday track 'she' is probably the last recorded song you'll ever hear from this band, it's my fav. A poetic story 'empty playgrounds' by norma McCorvey (jane roe from roe vs. wade) closes out the cd. each of these (filthy rich, ya right!) bands has set the example and donated their talents towards this rock for life project. all the proceeds from the sale of these cds will benefit rock 4 life and crisis pregnancy centers. how can you go wrong, send $11/USA $12/canada/mex. $13/international to 'rock for life' for this little chunk of TOM fest history on cd, you'll get some great raw live tunes and some warm fuzzies knowing you've helped out, where can you get a deal like that.
