I'm very into this album. WRA might get my vote for Most Improved in 2000. They've taken the fun with rockabilly and Ramones-like punk from their debut album and beefed it up with better songs and what sounds like better playing than their debut. (psst -- their secret was probably recording in Austin ... or maybe it was scoring a permanent drummer?) "Zombie Club" and "Psycho," with infectious hooks galore, would make The Misfits or Deadlines proud.
"Human Torch" is one of the most creative ways I've heard someone adapt the Lord's admonition to let our light shine. It's nice to hear a band that can be both fun and good.
