X-Terra presents their latest independent release, a melodic album best described as basic metal along the lines of Messiah Prophet, denoted by lots of sustained chords for most verses, which seem to be written for the casual listener. Fair production leaves guitars buried here and there, but production on drums is practically outstanding. One cut, "Too Busy", really impressed me, with a sound similar to "Bad To The Bone" by George Thorogood or especially a song by Vinnie Vincent Invasion called "Back On The Streets". "Too Busy" is a lamentation from Christ's point of view to a "too busy" believer. Strong R&B focus on this one.
