A new addition to the Victory Family, Bayside recorded this album with the help of the man himself, J. Robbins. In a lot of ways, Bayside reminded me of older Alkaline Trio. With a moody, dark take on rock, the vocal delivery style is similar with both bands. I don't think Bayside is ripping anyone off, but both bands hit me at the same level. Maybe "Sirens and Condolences" is a bit repetitive at some points, but it's still an interesting and enjoyable listen. Bayside shows promise in future endeavors.
