Scott Albert, the mastermind behind Circle of Dust, is back with a new project aptly called Brainchild and I like it 10 times better than C.O.D. Ten tracks of industrial/thrash and they're all way heavy. Stand out songs are "Deviate", "Aggressor (Regressive Mix)", "Descend", "Regressor (Aggressive Mix)" & "Prayers Of A Dead Man". Other songs include "Cranial Tyrant", "Telltale Crime", "Enshrined" & "Course Of Ruin" which are somewhat average in their delivery. Timing in at 51 minutes, Brainchild delivers where Circle of Dust fell short, not as poppy or keyboarded out, more guitars upfront in the mix & tons 'o' samples everywhere. So if you're ready for an intense, mindwarping experience of sound and mind, then Brainchild is the thing for you!
