The heaviest Christian hard band in Europe: CREED fits that description exactly. This four-track maxi is frankly heavyyyyyyyy!!!!!! The guitar sound is properly heavy, properly fat, and the vocals are heavy. "Turning Darkness Into Light", without being fast, really rips. Good job from the bassist (Tihomir Casni) on this track. It is true that the bass is well to the fore, unlike in certain bands. "New-Born" is an excellent track, bordering on speed metal, with hyper fast rhythm work, and some fairly savage screams... Klaus Binder does a good job on this metallic turbo, as do the two axemen. The chorus of "New-Born" is melodic all the same, and sticks in the memory. "Longing For You" is the inevitable slow, but here it is a heavy slow! The leads here are far more melodic than on the other tracks. The chorus is catchy. And then the last track, "Silent Prayer", is another metallic turbo, which nobody will resist!! Call that a silent prayer...!! Whoah!! It speeds like mad!! Excellent work on the drums, and on the guitar. "I will rock until I die, because I cannot be calm. Take my life, and fill my spirit with your kindness. My desire for You will grow day after day. I will rock!!" ("Silent Prayer"). The production is good, and this four-track maxi is to be put into the hands of nobody but real heavy metal kids...!

They weave some typical, but nevertheless catchy, rhythms and hooks into their barrage of metal. The guitarists, Dittmar Huge and Udo Libutzki, go to work on every song. They're not super flashy or phenomenal, but they attack their strings with a frenzy. Larry Miller had described their music as being similar to The…
