Okay Doug, Wasss up with this Home Slice? You see Heaven's Metal readers, Mr. Van Pelt knows I'm not an avid listener of thrash, but I enjoy all music - period. Anyway, moving right along... The album opens with a spoken piece called "Supplication". The background music sets the mood as we hear about spiritual warfare: "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal/ but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds." Throughout the album Deliverance shows that they play for keeps! (No weenies allowed.) What really impresses me about this band is that they are a very tight unit, and I do mean unit. It's clear to see that they work together, and don't have a player or two get off on tangents. Great message, great head-slamming music. So what more can I say, except GO GET IT!! Great job guys!
