Flow have been around for a few years now playing mainstream pubs and clubs and have only recently begun infiltrating the Christian market through a few festival appearances and this distribution deal with ICC. The sound is Radiohead and Echobelly influenced guitar-pop but with female vocals, bringing up comparisons to Sleeper and several other bands. Flow's great strength is being able to write wonderful pop tunes and this CD is full of them. From the driving guitar of "I Never Said" to the hooks of "Do What You Do" and the gentle acoustic sound of "Hang On" there isn't a weak song on this disc. I would have liked an outright rocker but that isn't Flow's style. Lyrically this CD is great: finely crafted lyrics which deal honestly with the trials and successes in the lyricist's life.
