Miss Youngward, with the very able assistance of some fine musicians, has made a welcome addition to contemporary Christian music cd racks with Faces Memories Places. Sherri Youngward sings her songs, subtle commentaries on life and society, in a pleasing, deep soprano. The music is acoustic and soothing; the lyrics thoughtful and unambiguous; liner notes give Youngward's thoughts on each song. "Peace" is a beautiful, slow song reminding us that God is in control. The slower songs are my favorites here, and Aaron Sprinkle did a fine job with the production; as well as contributing his guitar work. I will be looking for more from Sherri Youngward in the future.
