Global Warning is an old school melodic metal band from the USA. This is not the energetic power metal that's so popular in certain parts of the globe nowadays. What you can hear is the sort of pop metal stuff that was hot in the late eighties and early nineties. It's not done badly but I can't really get excited about it either. The playing is fine and the guitarist knows how to play solos well. But it's not convincing me. The singer lacks the passionate vocals to grab your attention. This is nice, though not more than that. Only for the die-hard old schoolers among us.
