Jesse Smith used to be Zao's drummer. Zao, as far as I know and am concerned, was one of the most influential and best metal bands. Jesse was one of the cornerstones of the band and his name came to my head first when I heard the name Zao. Now Jesse joined Rob Horner (former Zao bassist) in their new rock band Gods. Jesse went from the drums to the mic. How can I say this nicely? Jesse's drumming is better than his singing. Much better. Much Much better. "I See You Through Glass" is Gods' debut full length. I really hope it's their last. It's really not that good. They really try to be straight up rock but can't avoid some metal tangents. The music isn't all that bad but it's not mind blowing or even all that good. Jesse does a great job with hitting flat notes and trying to go out of his vocal range. I liked his vocals better on Through The Eyes of Kaytlyn but then again they weren't all that great either.
