Doomy bone-crunching, tough, heavy, hard rock. Danzig has done this before, but Mick Rowe & Co. have found a way to rehash it. A few songs, like "I Am," are slow. "Would You Die For Me" grooves reminiscent of Bride. Powerful guitar riffs abound, like in "Can't Fight" and the opening heaviness of "Hurricane." The lyrics are as bold as any from Christian metal's heyday of the 80s. There's something to be said for just doing what Goliath is doing -- lyrically and musically.
