Live Journal users all across the country are always pining for new words and excerpts to describe their heartache and with their debut Hand of Hope (a joint venture between the drummer of Evergreen Terrace and the owner of Eulogy Records) release Goodbye Means Forever finally under the belts, I Killed The Prom Queen (even the band name incites inspiration) have set out to take the hearts of those kids by storm.
The music utilizes the fast metallic approach of bands like Remembering Never, On Broken Wings and even their mentors Evergreen Terrace. This isn't a bad thing per se since they execute it extremely well. It would be easy to take a cheap shot by saying that this is yet another entry in the already bloated metalcore market, and while it is - it's an extremely solid record that's enjoyable and actually entertaining instead of boring like others in their field.
