This CDR EP got old with a quickness. Not because it's only 5 tracks, but because I found nothing new here. A death band doesn't always have to be complex or totally original to grab me, but there was nothing here that stood-out. The moist guttural flow from Jairus Pascale was similar to what you find in most gore bands (MORTICIAN, BROKEN HOPE) and were the only thing I gathered enjoyment from. I wish he would have done more of the "whisper growls" like on the track Defilement. The percussion had very few blast and fills were almost non-existent. The acoustical riffing had some feeling, but the general song riffs had simple composition. I don't know if it was done in a tribute sense, but 10 seconds into Night Falls is a direct imitation of Terminate Damnation from MORTIFICATION. Not only is it the same in riffing, but even in the rising and fading vocals. If you're still into simple American style death without technical amenities, be my guest. With all of the stunning American style DM around I could not take this seriously.

Dead Zine 2002Reviewed by GrindboyThese guys are Crimson Thorn fans! Low, grinding madness is what this is about, and it's worth a listen if your copy of Dissection is getting played out. "Tears of Blood" starts this 5 song EP out with a growling bang. Sporadic blast beats take you through the majority of the song before finishing with frantic screams of "Now only blood is left!" The vocals are low and slurred, similar to Crimson…
