
Now, how do I objectively assess a release that has "product" screaming from every pre-fabricated track? I mean, it comes across like crass manipulation. But, it's for the kids, right? So do I have the right to be objective, in the first place?
I was intrigued by the credits which listed Penni Aust and Janet McMahon-Wilson as "contractors" -- like this album was a contract, a job.
I'm sorry but if you're looking for some muzak to play in the background at your kids' Christmas parties, then this will do fine. If not, forget it!
