side A: 'i'm stealin to be your 1 in a million', is one of the catchiest tunes i've heard from LS, it can be found on their cd ep 'california'. a layered effect underneath a repetitive melody on gtr (which may sound like a kazoo) simple bass line, a steady rhythm on a clean gtr, soft simple percussion & sweet vocals which melt right into the gtrs. side B: 'save yourself & watch u win' original demo version recorded in '94 on a 4 track. pulsating strumming on a gtr and mere tapping on a snare w/ a quiet melody is the core of the song. powerful fuzzy distorted gtrs kick in, covering the vox, giving a disorientating clenching sound. it's almost nauseating going in & out from lo-fi clean to lo-fi distortion.
