Are you a great Michael W Smith fan? "Yes," you say. Buy this CD. If you aren't take a pass. For your $6.99, you get two versions of "Live the Life," "Greater than We Understand," and a Rocketown club remix of "Cry for Love."
The songs are typical MWS songs which isn't bad. The club mix is interesting but not great. With its computer-generated backgrounds, the "Live the Life" video is the major find on the enhanced part of the CD. Other than that, it's just the usual fan stuff, a few sound bits from his upcoming album (currently due in the stores in February), and an excerpt from his new book, Live the Life. The presentation is excellent but if you aren't a fan, wait for the album as you'll be left with the feeling of having purchased an advertisement. Isn't it supposed to work the other way?
These don't seem to exist in the secular market. The question is "Why are we Christians so willing to spend our money on them?". There isn't enough there to keep a person interested for more than a couple of listens.
